Change Oil & Filter

The Details Of Change Oil & Filter

We care about your transportation as much as you do, so we take our role as your preventive maintenance partner seriously. Motor oil grabs and suspends dirt, absorbs some of the heat from the engine, and, of course, lubricates the moving metal parts. These functions allow your engine to operate without undue damage.
Unfortunately, oil begins to break down as it ages, leaving it less able to protect as effectively as it once did. Old oil can lead to premature wear of internal engine components. Furthermore, the aged lubricant may combine with dirt to form sludge. This can result in internal clogs or, in severe cases, show on the external engine surfaces. It’s necessary to change the filter with every oil change, too. This disposable part keeps debris from recirculating through the engine. Once the filter’s fibrous folds are full, however, the dirty filter can allow dirt to seep by. When you entrust your vehicle to us for an oil change, we’ll attend to all the important details for you. We’ll follow the manufacturer’s recommendations for the optimal viscosity/weight for the model you drive. We’ll also advise you on recommendations for oil type. These are conventional, full synthetic, synthetic blend, or high mileage. Every oil change includes a complimentary check of other fluids, brakes, and tires.
